Excellent Park! Walking paths, bike paths, camping areas, lots of plants and animals. A great place to get back to nature without having to drive for hours.

Beautiful, natural beaches. Uncrowded. Plenty of local talent and shops. Great state. Nice weather and friendly locals.

Okracoke and Pea Island offer the solitude and naturalness that I expect from a beach. They are the best kept secrets on the East Coast and by far the the best beaches I've been to in CONUS.

I used to tell everyone how great it was here... but now too many of you come. Go away! We like our beach clean and quiet! If you want to drink and party, find SOMEWHERE ELSE! This is a place to relax and enjoy the sun, surf, and sand. In case you haven't guessed I give this a 5 star rating. Our family is on the fourth generation for loving this seashore.
