great place to bring the kids and have fun without the riff raff of va beach so to speak. good waves and comfortable atmostphere.............

To crowded over there. Also there is not alot of room there to lay down at. It was crowded Fathers Day :( and waves were dangerous.

Best locals beach....in the early 80's it was a good party beach, had a parking lot and all...now, hard to find a good parking space, but still good to go to....no tourist....yet

Any Va Beach Local that is frequently at the beach when summer hits will say this is where its at. Less touristy, more chill however the beach area in general continues to add on the the strip, attracting tourists. It worries my friends and me that in the near future, the beach we took for granted often refering to it as our second home, will be overpopulated by unappreciative out-of- towners.

It's the best place to be in the summer... not too many tourists, but a lot of awesome locals enjoying the beach
