This late 18th-century plantation home features period rooms, special exhibits and gardens and a museum gift shop. Recent restorative painting and furniture acquisitions provide an accurate representation of the Land family’s privileged lifestyle. Guided tours of the period rooms are available by costumed docents, as are self-guided tours of the herb, vegetable and pleasure gardens. The History Park and Trail is behind the home and wanders 1/8 of a mile through the wooded wetlands. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places
