A public hearing on hospital projects by Bon Secours Hampton Roads Health System – including the downsizing of its DePaul Medical Center in Norfolk – and Sentara Healthcare has been rescheduled for Aug. 18 at 10 a.m.
The hearing is being organized by the Eastern Virginia Health Systems Agency, a regional body that advises the state health commissioner on major health care projects. It will be held in the conference rooms at the Lifestyle Center on the campus of Chesapeake Regional Medical Center.
The hearing was originally scheduled for July but was postponed at the request of Bon Secours.

That's right move the hearing on the future of DePual Hospital to another city and area. So there won't be any opposition to downsizing the hospital from the citizens who will be most affected. Citizens Who live in the North end of Norfolk, may not have access to transportation out to Battlefield Blvd. in Chesapeake. Way to go hold a hearing where the folks most affected CAN NOT voice their opinion!!!!!!!!
