Queen of hip-hop soul Mary J. Blige will bring her Heart of the City Tour to the Verizon Wireless Virginia Beach Amphitheater on Friday, Sept. 19.
The Bronx-born artist who made her first demo at a shopping mall studio karaoke studio is a three-time Grammy Award-winner for her 2007 album, "The Breakthrough." She took the categories of best female R&B vocal performance, best R&B song (“Be Without You”) and best R&B album.
Pop and R&B singer/songwriter Robin Thicke will open for Mary J. Blige. He has written and produced songs for artists like Jordan Knight, Usher And Christina Aguilera.
