On the National Register of Historic Places, Olde Towne is charmed by its restored homes and buildings originating in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. Discover Victorian secrets with a guided tour of the of the historic neighborhood, its churches and historic graveyard or stroll at your own pace and enjoy the architectural integrity of this Elizabeth River town.

Guided lantern tours are available Tuesday evenings at twilight. Seasonally-themed walking tours are also presented during Halloween and Christmas.

Other points of historical interest are include: The Hill House, Courthouse Galleries, Lightship Museum and the Museum of Military History Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Museum.
