This Suffolk home, built in 1837, gets its name from its size. An avant-grade Greek revival house, it contains 21 rooms, 16 fireplaces and four floors. It was a Union hospital during the Civil War. Signatures and notes from the wounded soldiers are still on the walls of the house. The house also features constant and changing art and historical exhibits.

Local's tip: Near the laundry room in the basement is an interesting museum celebrating Suffolk's peanut industry and a gift shop.
