Originally the Loew's State Theater, The TCC Roper Performing Arts center reopened its doors in 2001 after being dark for over twenty years. The fully restored 1926 movie palace offers the latest in performance technology and lies in the heart of the revitalized downtown Norfolk. The Roper hosts the presentation of performing arts of every genre and exquisitely combines 1920's elegance with state of the art technology.
