A 63-year-old Suffolk woman was sentenced today for masturbating in front of her teen grandson.
According to court records, she had been drinking beer when the incident occurred in January. Initially, she was charged with taking indecent liberties with a child, but in a plea agreement today, the charge was reduced to contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Jones got a suspended sentence of 12 months in jail, and two years of supervised probation with drug and alcohol counseling. Jones also will no longer be allowed to spend time alone with her grandchildren.
