A Suffolk man has died of injuries he received in a motorcycle accident on June 28.
Police said Lawrence Fitzgerald Knight, 37, died Friday at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He was involved in a single-vehicle motorcycle accident in the 1100 block of Hosier Road.
Knight, of the 200 block of Pinner St., was driving his 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle northbound when he lost control of the motorcycle, was ejected and struck a ditch.
Police said excessive speed contributed to the accident.
