Find out how the railroad shaped the city of Suffolk and surrounding areas. Donations accepted. The Suffolk Seaboard Railroad Museum provides a wonderful opportunity for visitors to experience the history of Suffolk as told through the circa 1907 HO-scale model railroad. Visitors also enjoy hearing the story of the restoration of the building and the six railroad lines which ran through the town for many years. Many stories about agriculture, Cedar Hill Cemetery and the Civil War are told by the volunteers who meet and great our visitors. Children enjoy our hands-on Thomas train play table as well as other books and toys. Adults can browse our gift shop and participate in tastings.
