Two children, ages 12 and 7, were at home Tuesday afternoon when two men broke into their apartment and pointed a gun at them before running away, according to police.
The children were not injured, police said.
The break-in happened at 1:12 p.m. Tuesday in the 4100 block of Wales Drive, according to police. The children were at home alone when two men broke in and began ransacking the apartment, police said. One of the men pulled a gun when they discovered the children, according to police. Both men then ran away.
Police described one man as black, between 18 and 19 years old, 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall, thin with a mustache and beard last seen wearing a white T-shirt, jeans, a black T-shirt over his head and black Air Force One sneakers.
The second man is described as black, of medium build wearing jeans with white lines down the leg, a white T-shirt over his head and Air Force One sneakers.
