The Army Transportation museum is devoted entirely to the history of U.S. Army transportation from colonial days to present.
Opened in 1959, the museum complex occupies six acres just inside the entrance to Fort Eustis, Virginia, 11 miles south of Williamsburg. Nearly 100 full-size vehicles, amphibians and tugboats, aircraft, rail rolling stock and experimental craft can be seen.
