Wright Brothers Memorial

Price:
$4 per person, 16 years and up, valid for 7 days.  Free for individuals 15 and under.

The first successful powered flights took place here by Wilbur and Orville Wright on Dec. 17, 1903. A 60-foot granite monument dedicated in 1932 was built on Kill Devil Hill to commemorate the first flight and is must-see while visiting. Visitors are also encouraged to tour the museum exhibits, the reconstructed camp buildings and first flight trail area.
