You'll need the following ingredients and supplies to make the cleaning solution (turpentine and linseed oil can both be purchased at a paint store):

1 empty and clean coffee can

1 quart of water

3 tablespoons turpentine (not paint thinner)

3 tablespoons boiled

linseed oil (it comes

pre-boiled)

Use rubber gloves, eye protection and make sure to have plenty of ventilation when doing this cleaning project.

First, boil the water and pour it into the clean coffee can.

Next, add the turpentine and boiled linseed oil, and thoroughly mix the ingredients.

Dip a clean, soft cloth

into the mixture and wring it out.

Clean small areas at a time and immediately

wipe the cleaned areas dry with a clean, white soft cloth.

Caution: Do not reheat this product; it is very flammable.

If the solution cools down, simply start over and make a new batch.
