Josh Brown covers economic development and commercial and residential real estate in Hampton Roads.

He joined the staff of The Pilot in June 2008 after working for more than two years at The Press-Enterprise in Riverside, Calif.

Josh began his journalism career at 14 covering high school news for WJGA 92 FM radio station in his hometown of Jackson, Ga.

He graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in journalism with a focus on publication management and later interned in the Washington bureau of The Dallas Morning News and for the Dow Jones Newswires and the Associated Press in Brussels, Belgium.
