Police are seeking a man charged with committing 52 counts of sexual assault against two Newport News girls.

Jerry Thomas Tomlin, Jr., 47, is charged with 26 counts of indecent liberties with a child, 25 counts of sodomy and one count of attempted sodomy, Newport News police said.

The victims were sexually assaulted between January 2005 and July 2008, police said. They are now 12 and 13 years old.
