Highlights Navy Cargo Transfer Platoon 4 was the fourth rotation of sailors from Cargo Handling Battalion 1 to deploy to Iraq. The active-duty sailors moved more than 500,000 pounds of food supplies for troops at forward bases. They handled 35 million pounds of cargo by air, reducing the number of ground convoys needed on Iraqi roads. The unit is based at Cheatham Annex, part of Yorktown Naval Weapons Station.
