This week's episode:

Pilot sportswriters Ed Miller and Rich Radford talk about a story Ed has written for Saturday's edition of The Virginian-Pilot about how local NFL players are finding that the disability benefits are not what they need. Rich will bring listeners up-to-date on college football, especially the fledgling ODU program, and other topics of interest to local sports fans.

So

So basically what they are saying is they couldn't take a piddly one percent of their large income and buy their own disability insurance? Nice. I wish I made as much money as they get paid to play a game. Instead, I got to work for a great deal less then they get paid. Then when a worthless drunk ruined my career, I get stuck trying to figure out how to pay my bills and take care of my wife while she goes through chemo. You think they have it bad? Try working for the city of Virginia Beach and getting hurt on the job....
