VIRGINIA BEACH
A 47-year-old man apparently shot his wife in the leg before turning the gun on himself last night on Goldsboro Avenue, police said.
Police were called to the home, in the 900 block of Goldsboro, shortly before 9 p.m., said Adam Bernstein, a police spokesman. The couple had been arguing, Bernstein said.
The woman is expected to recover. The man, whose name was not released, died at the scene.
Bernstein said he didn’t know if there were any children inside the home during the incident.
