PORTSMOUTH
A 27-year-old man was killed this morning on Dale Drive, police said.
Officers were called shortly after midnight about shots being fired in the 30 block of Dale Drive, according to a police news release.
When they arrived, they found Gregory Gilmore, of the 2900 block of Deep Creek Blvd., suffering a gunshot wound, police wrote in the release. Gilmore was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have no suspects and have not released any information about a possible motive.
They were asking anyone with information to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
