Police are looking for two people who entered a Sonic restaurant and fired several shots as one ordered employees to lie on the floor during a robbery early today.
The restaurant, at 11835 Jefferson Ave., was closed when the incident occurred about 12:45 a.m., said Newport News police spokesman Harold Eley. No one was injured, he said.
The two robbers were described as of average height and wearing bulky dark clothing. Both carried long guns, and one had a high voice, Eley said. No other suspect information was available.
