Comics trial: ''The Pajama Diaries''

Posted to: Entertainment

Terri Libenson lives in Ohio with her husband and their two daughters. She launched “The Pajama Diaries” in 2006, and it’s quickly gained a following in the United States. The story lines mirror Libenson’s life. The main character is Jill Kaplan, who narrates her daily adventures as a wife, mom of two, freelance artist and sometimes-envious neighbor of a household referred to as “Perfectville.”

Pajama Yawn

Is there more to this strip then what is shown here? Even the most insipid comics currently in the paper try to do something. While I'm tired of For Better, it's still "Better" than what you've shown here.

The Pajamma Diaries

Please do not put this on my comic pages. The only way I would accept it would be if you canned Rex Morgan, M.D.

It just isn't funny

I agree with the "parenting" overload in the comics section, but more importantly for me the Pajama Diaries simply isn't funny. Please find something else.

For Better or for Worse

Please don't stop "For Better or for Worse". It has been my favorite comic strip for years and I will gladly read it from the beginning. Besides - some of us didn't see the strip in our paper until much later on. Barbara

How about something different?!?

Please, NOT another "parenting" strip. Not counting the rehashed FBOFW (which needs to GO, BTW), we have NINE "parenting" strips already: Zits, Baby Blues, Marvin, Jump Start, Family Circus, Dennis the Menace, Luann, Sally Forth, and Curtis. Not everyone who reads the paper is elderly or has kids. How about getting us something new and different, like the award-winning Get Fuzzy or Pearls Before Swine? The Pilot's comics page is already stuffed full of bland, family-friendly pablum - please don't add Pajama Diaries to it.
