Key facts Booker T. Washington has managed just seven total points against Oscar Smith and Warwick. Petersburg rolled up more than 300 rushing yards in last week’s victory over George Wythe.

Jami Frankenberry says Petersburg, 34-15. Larry Rubama says Petersburg, 33-13.

Trinity Episcopal at Bishop Sullivan Catholic

Records Trinity Episcopal 2-0, Bishop Sullivan Catholic 2-1.

Key facts Trinity Episcopal, in its fourth year of football, averaged 28 points in victories over Virginia Episcopal and Nansemond-Suffolk. Bishop Sullivan WR Colton Cox has scored three TDs and averages nearly 30-plus yards on his five receptions.

Blessed Sacrament Huguenot at Broadwater Academy

Key facts Blessed Sacrament is coming off a 62-6 victory over Tidewater Academy and has scored 127 points in its first three games. Broadwater Academy has won back-to-back games after dropping its season opener to Atlantic Shores.

Blue Ridge School at Atlantic Shores

Records Blue Ridge School 0-0, Atlantic Shores 1-2.

Key facts This is Blue Ridge’s season opener. Parker Jackson rushed for 119 yards in Atlantic Shores’ 28-0 loss to Liberty Christian.

Norfolk Academy at St. Stephen’s/St. Agnes

Records Norfolk Academy 1-1, St. Stephen’s/St. Agnes 1-0.

Key facts Norfolk Academy picked up its first win last week, rushing 267 yards against Greenbrier Christian. Conor Dewey and Alec Dawson combined for 154 yards of those yards. St. Stephen’s opened its season last week with a 30-22 victory over St. Christopher’s.

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy vs. Norfolk Christian

Key facts Nansemond-Suffolk’s Will Crenshaw rushed for 102 yards in an overtime loss to Trinity Episcopal last week. Norfolk Christian defeated Hampton Roads 28-14 on Monday to pick up a win in its first TCIS game. P.J. Clark’s 198 yards and three TDs led the way.

Franklin at Southampton

Time 7 p.m.

Records Franklin 1-0, Southampton .

Key facts Franklin is coming off a bye week after thrashing Northampton 50-0 in its season opener. The Broncos have won three of the past four meetings in this non-district series. Southampton lost its season opener 35-0 last week to Tabb and has a four-game losing streak.
