Web site seeks ideas for improving Virginia government

Posted to: News Virginia

Gov. Timothy M. Kaine today announced the creation of www.ideas.virginia.gov, a Web site designed to gather citizens' ideas on how to improve state government.

The portal allows people to post, discuss and vote on ideas.

In addition, the governor announced several awards for excellence in use of information technology, including recognition of the Williamsburg-James City County public schools for innovative use of technology in K-12 education.

Kaine was in Williamsburg to speak at the 10th annual Commonwealth of Virginia Innovative Technology Symposium.

The event is held for education, business and government technology leaders.

Henry Hager For Governor!

Time to Shine Young Man!

Quit wasting money on website

What a waste of taxpayer money, as if a truly interested citizen doesn't have ample opportunity to express suggestions. What else would we expect from a Governor who is too busy worrying about national politics than Virginia's fiscal problems. I suspect this is one of Kaine's simplistic distractions from the economic disaster he's leaving his predecessor.

Here's a novel idea

Quit wasting so much money and instill tax cuts.

Simple, Resign

Simple, the Governor should resign. The best improvement for the State that I can think of.

Simple...

Resign
