No dear...

I didn't say 'personality.'

Um, I meant you yourself could be hurt by Obama's election when his programs fail.

it won't hurt my personality

I will be voting for Obama/Biden and it certainly won't hurt my personality either.
Voting for McCain will keep us in a war for the next decade, and this country cannot afford another war of lies.

The GOP has no one but themselves to blame for. In 2000 you elected George Bush and in 2004 he was re-selected. Out country has gone down hill every since. The GOP had dug their own hole, and the country is sick of it. The more McCain/Palin talk they worse it gets.

Not when it's true

"McCain is relentless with his slander of Obama"

It is not slander when it is true. Look it up. I implore all voters to vote on facts and not emotion and bias. Take a couple of hours this week and review the bio the senate provides o ntheir websites. Collect information.

Take this vote seriously. An error could hurt you personally.

the votes "will be there"

Come Nov. 4th we will all go to the polls and vote for the person of our choice, and increasing number of both Democrats and Republicans are plannig to vote for Obama, and for all the right reasons. McCain and his foolsih move with Sarah Palin as VP is unspeakable. McCain is relentless with his slander of Obama, and it's a total turnoff, filled with lies and hate and we are sick of it. The public is not as stupid as McCain and Palin seem to think. And certainly not as stupid as some of the bloggers on here who continue to tout for him, with issues that are non-issues to begin with.

The votes are there

"whom John McCain's campaign later hired to manage the GOP convention in September."

John McCain makes no such decision. He is not head of the GOP by fefault just for running for president. If we want to deal w/ facts we can all see who voted against such legislation to curb the FM's by visiting Obama's section of the senate website. McCain sponsored legislation to rein them in and Obama voted against it. It's a fact. Any of you can look it up.

The more you know, the more you blame republicans ...

From AP:

WASHINGTON – Freddie Mac secretly paid a Republican consulting firm $2 million to kill legislation that would have regulated and trimmed the mortgage finance giant and its sister company, Fannie Mae, three years before the government took control to prevent their collapse.

In the cross hairs of the campaign carried out by DCI of Washington were Republican senators and a regulatory overhaul bill sponsored by Sen. Chuck Hagel, R-Neb. DCI's chief executive is Doug Goodyear, whom John McCain's campaign later hired to manage the GOP convention in September.

hey brpster

In 2004 when Bush was running for president you could read articles online that stated he had a homosexual relationship whil in college. You can find anything you want online, half of it isn't true.

Search it!

Panama?

Why would anyone even suggest that McCain or Obama are not citizens?
Obama, No question American.
McCain, Born in the Canal Zone to a military family both US citizens coupled with an act of congress No Question American a Zonie but American.

RJS

You left Frank Raines off of Obama's list.

As for the Fox news source jabs below, YouTube has no political stance. You can easily look at clips of Obama making promises that he changed his mind on after receiving the nomination w/o commentary. You can watch him tell a guy in Ohio he intends to implement socialism. He intends to give those who do less or nothing more from those of us who work.

It's true. You know it's true. The scary part is every time he has backed off from a promise it was after learning about it. I used to be suprised some people would want such an inexperienced person in office but after reading your comments for a couple of months it is clear you do not know what you are doing. A large part of your group are simply panhandlers.

Such misinformation

Obama is a US citizen because he was born in Hawaii, the 50th state. Since his mother was born in Kansas, to 2 American citizens, he is a citizen anyway 1 could possibly look at it. On the other hand, McCain was born in Panama.

Hey Chemat

As far as Odinga goes, he is Obama's cousin. From the same tribe as Obama's father. Search it.

Palin/McCain's desparate talking points: associations

Obama’s associations: Warren Buffett and Republicans Dick Lugar, Chuck Hagel and Jim Leach, just to name a few that have a good chance being part of an Obama administration. Powell has been an unoffical advisor for several months.

McCain’s associations: Rick Davis’s Freddie Mac/Fanny May and other lobbyists on his staff that make a good chance in McCain administration, his economic advisor that called me a whiner, and a VP that has demonstrated both a lack of experience and common sense and is in hiding for real questions before the elections while she could very well become our next President in a time of crisis.

I never voted for Bill Clinton due to his stance on the military. Sen Clinton and her female colleagues in both parties are not afraid to answer questions and speak their own mind. I've yet to see a female Rep Senator that supports McCain’s VP pick.

chemat I'd like to know

Why McCain claims he isn't George Bush, when his vote has supported Bush over 90% of the time. I would also like to know why there are so many lobbyist working on the McCain campign? Won't they actually be the same ones who will be running this country, God forbid, should he win? I would also like to know in who's dream do they think Sarah Palin would make a good president should anything happen to McCain? How much money has McCain/Palin spent on negative campaign ads.

Oh and BTW, your comments about Obama, are totally absurd, and if you ever listen to anything but Fox you would alread know that.

Obama

I think that the American Public needs to get more educated about Obama and his associations. Also, why doesn't he put his hand over his heart for the pledge or the National Anthem. As of October 6th, he still has not provided the answers to fulfill Berg's request for documentation to prove he is a U.S. Naturalized citizen...

When Obama mentioned his mentors, he didn't mention the Sorros guy.

And what and why would Obama help Odinga be President in Kenya?

There are too many questionable associations, the democratic party should have done more for Hillary for sure.

Hey Maynard

from your own article posting from the liberal NY Times

"Both, in fact, would probably be eligible for a tax cut, said Bob Williams, senior research associate at the independent, nonpartisan Tax Policy Center, though the cut would probably be greater under Mr. McCain’s tax plan than Mr. Obama’s."

So who is really cutting taxes for the middle class?

Proof positive

You can look back at basically 99% of the Obama supporters on this sites post history and see specific attacks against McCain supporters. The most prominent is the accusations of racism. Even in Mr. Kreb's letter he hurls an insult.

While Icannot convince people suc has Maynard to act reasonably, I like to think there are other casual readers and lurkers out there who are taking notes.

Darn mainstream media

Reporting republican lies and distortions again:

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/10/17/us/politics/17joe.html?_r=1&oref=slogin

Meanwhile, reports of angry republicans attacking and threatening Obama and his supporters continue to mount.

McCain - The Great Divider. He created Frankenstein and lost control. That's what you get when you use an inferior brain for your monster, I guess.

actually Gertz

Obama approached Joe while campaigning in Ohio. It's on youtube, go look at it. McCain just took the conversation between those two (Obama and Joe) to make a point. Now whether Joe actually can buy the business or not has no bearing what-so-ever on the point made. A small business making 250K a year will be taxed more, meaning less people will be venturing out to start new companies, and those that already exist will probably have to lay people off because they can't afford to pay them anymore. As most small businesses are LLCs, or S corps, or partnerships, that's a lot of people laid off, or businesses out of business. It is not that hard to figure out.

Anyone?

Gertz said:

"As far as taxing the higher income folks who make more than $250K a year and less for middle class and poorer, then yes that's sprading the wealth around, if that's how you want to put it. "

Gertz wants to tax the self employed to provide money for the segment that pays no taxes. Any middle class business person can easily refute the $250K mark as being wealthy.

Gertz, you should have more concern for your fellow man. You have dispalyed you do not understand how business and tax laws work. What if your ignorant comments actually cause harm to someone? You should step aside when you do not understand the subject. You are hurting your candidate.

let's make it perfectly clear

"How does this change what Obama said to him in response? He said he wanted to "spread the wealth around" didn't he?
I don't care about your opinion but you did see the tape right? He did say that? I saw it."

Make NO mistake I could careless about your opinions also. It's irrelivant what Obama said to McCain's "Joe the Plumber' The man was a fake. As far as taxing the higher income folks who make more than $250K a year and less for middle class and poorer, then yes that's sprading the wealth around, if that's how you want to put it.

You irritate people, Just to irritate them.
