The Fuzz Band in Bermuda

We went on our first cruise and despite a bit of sea sickness, we all eventually found our sea legs. It was amazing! We were asked to perform aboard the 2nd Annual Capital Jazz Fest Supercruise that featured some of the most influential jazz legends, up and comers, and yes...The Fuzz Band. We were given a featured spot performing pool-side, and hosted Fuzzy Wednesday at sea...pretty cool if I may say so.

I'm not one who usually falls victim to being "star-struck", but it was a bit overwhelming to be trapped; in the best sense of the word, on board with so many influential musicians. We did Pilates with Earl Klugh, and did a Master Class with Rachelle Ferrell. We met Gerald Albright, Ledisi, Will Downing, The Brand New Heavies, and my personal favorite, Patty Austin. She was phenomenal in concert, extremely funny, and strikingly beautiful! I'm definitely a straight shooter; I love men, but I think Patty might have had a little crush on me! Dare I flatter myself?
