Hampton police charge three in carjacking case

HAMPTON

Police have charged three men in connection with a carjacking from Sunday night.

According to police a woman was sitting in her car in the first block of Towne Center Way at 10:15 p.m. Sunday when three men approached her. After asking to use her cell phone, then a ride, one of the men took out a gun. The three men left in the car, police said.

Today police arrested Deanthony Quantae Clark, 18, of the 1200 block of Big Bethel Place and Mark Anthony Hynes, 18, of the first block of Tree Bark Place, and a 17-year-old male. They are each charged with carjacking and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.
