Jennifer Hudson offers $100,000 for missing nephew's return
Oscar winner and “American Idol” star, Jennifer Hudson and her family are offering a $100,000 reward for the safe return of her missing 7-year-old nephew Julian, gone since Friday. The actresses mother and brother were fatally shot at home in Chicago the day the boy went missing. As investigators continued looking for forensic evidence at the south side home of Darnell Donerson, 57, and Jason Hudson, 29, the FBI confirmed to People that they are also assisting with the investigation.
While searching for Julian, the police have discovered the body of young black boy in an SUV Monday. The license plate on the white SUV found matches the vehicle listed in the Amber Alert issued for Jennifer Hudson's missing nephew. There was no confirmation on the identity of the body yet.
Possible parade in Philly tonight!
The Phillies have a 3-1 World Series lead, and the team of 10,000 losses could bring home its first big sports championship title since 76ers won the NBA Finals in 1983. The Phillies last won the series in 1980. That means if the Phillies win tonight you can expect a parade in the team's hometown. Watch Game 5 of the World Series at 8 p.m. tonight on Fox.
Sarah Palin’s hopes for Bristol’s wedding
Now that Gov. Sarah Palin's daughter has celebrated her 18th birthday, the GOP vice-presidential candidate says she's hoping Bristol and fiancé Levi Johnston – who are expecting a baby in December – will tie the knot well before the date next summer the young couple had been eyeing. "Hopefully before that," Sarah Palin tells People magazine in an interview. "Bristol turns 18 in a few days [Oct. 18]. That's what we wanted her to wait for: 18, and a decision on her own about how she's going to go forward, her and Levi, at this point."

Sheen, 42, who is already a father to three girls (two daughters with Denise Richards), has expressed interest in having a son.
Couric, Stewart insults Lauer
The nicest and most proper celebs on TV - such as Martha Stewart, Brian Williams and Katie Couric - slung insults at Matt Lauer on Friday during a roast of Lauer at the Friar's Club. Tom Cruise got a few words in edgewise too ("Go crazy. Trust me. Trust me. People will love you for it."), but Lauer - as is tradition for those being roasted - got the last word: "Tom, can you stay? I'll get a booster seat."
Tripping off this mortal coil with McCain & you
Carl Bialik, The Wall Street Journal's Numbers Guy, speculated on the life expectancy of John McCain, who is 72. Looking at online life-expectancy calculators Bialik came up with a variety of results spanning 14 years. Cube found three cool calculators - Living to 100, MSN's Life Expectancy Calculator and a mortality calculator posted by Dean P. Foster of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Cube nvites you to give one or all three a try then post your results (and what you think of the results) in the comments below.
Hopefully a break with Cube Candy keeps a case of the "Monday's" away!
