A weekend shooting that left one man dead, one wounded and a third facing murder and other charges began as an altercation inside a sports restaurant that moved to the parking lot, police said Monday.
Police have charged Rodney Williams, 40, of the 300 block of Honaker Ave. in Norfolk, with second-degree murder, malicious wounding and two firearms charges, according to online court records and police. He’s scheduled for an initial court appearance on Oct. 14.
Williams is accused of killing Nicholas Nalls, 29, of the 100 block of Coral Gables Court in Virginia Beach, and wounding a second man in the foot. The shooting occurred about 2 a.m. Sunday outside the Locals Satellite Sports Grill at 5601 E. Virginia Beach Blvd.
