NORFOLK
Police are investigating a robbery at Advance America Cash Advance in the 1500 block of International Blvd.
About 5 p.m. Tuesday, a man entered the business, armed with a handgun, and demanded cash, according to a news release from Norfolk police. He fled the scene in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries occurred during the robbery.
The man was described as black, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, between 150 to 170 pounds and was wearing a dark blue and red Cincinnati Reds cap, a black-hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
