Letters may be edited for length, style and clarity and writers are limited to one published letter every month. Please add your name, city, street address and daytime telephone number for confirmation.

Obama's empty resume

Barack Obama has no experience in leadership, legislating or orchestrating laws, or shaping any known foreign policy. The one law he falls back on is the Illinois Ethics Reform Bill, and he didn't have anything to do with authoring it. He was part of a team that endorsed it. He likes to stretch the truth on that issue. What we do know of him is this: He is terribly inexperienced and has very, very questionable associations. Is discussing these obviously poor acts of judgment on Obama's behalf fair? You bet it is.

Obama is clueless on our energy needs. He wants us to use only green technology, which is still being developed. Most Americans know John McCain because we grew up with him. He is tough as nails. Barack Obama's main experience rather than governing is campaigning for almost two years.

Obama has YOU

where he wants you. It's so sad it is actually funny. There are more stupid Americans than there are smart ones. The Prophet is telling you exactly what you want to hear and he will not deliver much, if anything. The first thing he will take care of is that Economic Stimulus check that you are supposed to receive in 2009 under Bush's policy. HaHa... He is actually buying the election with corrupt campaign contributions from only god knows who in foreign countries. Particulary Muslim countries. It should make you wonder why but hardly any will even beleive it. Taxes wil go up. Defense will be cut. The terroist will love our situation. They may even be contributing to get him elected with online anonymous contributions. The world already knows he will be elected. He has the 3 men that brought down wall street working for him now at economic advisors after they ran Fannie Mae into the ground and got rich. Obama is pimping Hope and Change and your addicted to it. I now wonder if there will be wipespread riots in major US cities after he is elected.

Your right kb

She does have less experience than many VP picks in the past. The problem w/ the argument is that she had to show up for work everyday and run a state while Obama could not be bothered to even make votes for which he was paid well for. So while the people he represents are having trouble paying for healthcare, he was sitting on his rear not even attempting to make it to work. All the while he had excellent care.

Keep that hand out. Selling pencils would be quicker.

True leadership

Obama has shown true leadership ability by selecting advisers to form a successful campaign. Anyone who has ever been a leader knows how important it is to have intelligent staff that tells you the good and bad, and makes sensible recommendations - for the opposite, see w's administration (or sarah's with her high school buddies and the todd running things).

Picking palin as vp shows is on par with being a CO and asking for a sea cadet to be your XO.

Keep selling it!

"Now McCain is acting more like a lynch party leader rather then any form of future President. He should be wearing a white robe rather than a suit. He is disgusting!"

The letter write was sincere and stated facts that can not be denied or proven incorrect. The regular bunch piles on to the replies and come up w/ one liners like the one I pasted above.

Did everyone get the message? Your vote is no longer what is important. The thought you put into the issues should be discounted. All that matters is if you do not vote for Obama you are a racist.

How does it feel?

Comment

You can tell much about a character of a man by the company he keeps.....neither one of the candidates have kept very good company. I have to say though, that Obama has been very slow, for a politician, to acknowledge and repudiate those associations that could be perceived as detrimental. A member of Rev Wright's church for decades and he just now hears the message Rev Wright is trumpeting? Ok...sure; I guess kids would believe that.

Jumping jimminy crickets!

Tax code, fiscal policy, domestic problems, etc., are the fault of the legislative branch. Read: the House and Senate. They let the current situations happen.
These two sides aided and abetted the problems and now campaign against them.
Since Democrats and Republicans are against deficits why do we still have them? Why?
Have you ever wondered...if all politicians are against inflation and high taxes, why do we have inflation and high taxes? The House has the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. They also write the tax code and set fiscal policy.
Read our U.S. Constitution and keep this in mind when you vote on November 4. There is no single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to the 535 so-called Americans.

McCain was tough as nails

Sounds like someone is watching too much of Sean Hannity. McCain is not tough just power driven. How can a man that let Carl Rove and his despicable crew humiliate him and his family with horrendous lies during his campaign against Bush in the 2000 GOP, and then turnaround and hire the same bums to run his sick campaign. How can a man disavow Jerry Falwell and the religious right wacko's and then later bow down on his knees and kiss Falwell's ring! How can a man have been one of the "Keating Five" and later say that he has never been part of the same group of thieves on Wall Street. How can a man who hated Bush later put his arms around the clown and kiss him on the cheek? Now McCain is acting more like a lynch party leader rather then any form of future President. He should be wearing a white robe rather than a suit. He is disgusting!

Where do you people get this stuff

Obama does not want us to "only use green energy". Did you even bother to watch the debates? Do you even bother to actually listen to the candidates? Or do you get you news from the same people who claim that Obama is a muslim and/or a closet terrorist?

Poor Associations Cut Both Ways

McCain's associations and experience leave much to be desired. He shows poor judgment, lacks consistency and is ill-tempered. What Obama lacks in experience is more than compensated by his running mate and the people he surrounds himself with.

And you know what.....

even with all of that empty space on his resume, he still looks like the better candidate. Makes me wonder what McCain lacks, oh yea common sense.
