A 24-year-old man was killed in a shooting in Norfolk on Monday night, police said. Police identified him Tuesday as William E. Bonney Jr.
The shooting happened about 11:09 p.m. in the 7600 block of MacDonald Road, police Sgt. Jim Robertson said.
Bonney was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where he died. No arrests had been made, Robertson said.
Police did not release further information.
