Portsmouth police release description of car that hit 3 youths

PORTSMOUTH

Police said this morning that they believe the car that hit three pedestrians on Greenleaf Trail last week is a dark blue BMW.

Officers were called to a report of a hit-and-run Wednesday night on Peachtree Lane near the intersection with Greenleaf, police said. When they arrived, they found three youths – two girls and a boy - had been hit by a car, they said. 

One of the girls suffered life-threatening injuries; the other two children had injuries that weren’t life-threatening, police said. No update on their condition was provided this morning.
