Just say no to Obama and to socialism in America

The problem with the ads someone here called negative is all true, and if they are not true please tell us what are your facts, we would love to hear them. Is it true that his friends in the media attacked Palin and her family? Where was Obama to tell the media to stop it? Is it not true that Palin has more government experience? Is it true that he's telling people that 95 % of the tax payers will not see an increase? How is this possible when he has so many welfare, I mean plans that will require alot of money like in the billions maybe trillions. So many lies and people don't care. Why is it that people that people will only vote for him not for his issues but because he's the great black hope.

Its Time

The wealth hasnt been spread, your 401k investment is a bunch of "balance sheet" wealth. It isnt actually dollars until the assets are sold. When you lose your shirt in the stock market, nobody else gains that money. It doesnt go to the Feds, or the homeless guy, or the local soup kitchen. Wealth, in the case of "spreading it around", is in the form of hard core cash, not balance sheet fluff that rises and falls when someone takes the wrong breath. Im hoping one day the right wing will see that "trickle down" economics does nothing but "bottle neck" the wealth at the top, as it NEVER trickles down. The poor and middle classes fuel the economy, and if they cant buy things because they have no money, the rich man suffers as well. Henry Ford understood this at the dawn of modern American industrialism, yet it continues to escape the grasp of the right wing mind. The more discretionary money that filters to the poor and middle class, the better everyone does. Period.

have no fear

The more you continue the negative slamming of Obama/Biden the more folks will vote for Obama.

You haven't figured out that we the people are sick of all the negative coming from McCain/Palin, who can't discuss issues, and those of you who do the same. Keep up the good work, because McCain will lose this election because of YOU.

Who pays the taxes?

Hmmmm - let's see - who pays the majority of the taxes in this country? Taken from the IRS.GOV we site, for tax year 2006 there were 92,740,926 returns filed. Of them, 4,062,931 had taxable income over $200,000. Do the math, that's 4.38% of the tax payers. They paid 53.2% of the total dollars paid in taxes to the govt. Seem right? They are the ones Obama wants to tax MORE. I heard that over the weekend, both Obama and Biden changed their tune and lowered the income they want to target to $200,000 from $250,000. Then they lowered their target more. I haven't seen it in writing yet, but lowering the limit will need to be done. Also - the "Bush" tax relief plan will expire in 2010. Obama said he won't renew it. In that plan is relief for all tax brackets, not just the top 4%......you all have been warned and will reap what you sow. You really need to look in to the facts (and understand them - ask questions if you don't) and not just vote your party, or color on this one.

Uneducated Orion

Hello - the separation of church and state is something our founding fathers wrote about in many ways. My comment had NOTHING to do with establishing a religion (though that may have been one of their concerns). It's bigger than that. Just google it and educate yourself a little before trying to come down on someone your superior. To say "just don't vote" as part of your argument is pure buffoonery.

I will vote, thank you, in a church or anywhere else. I don't view them as anything other than a business giving false hope to the uneducated masses. Since they don't pay taxes, I guess this is one way to give back to the community. I will continue, however, to question the relationship between government and churches when it comes to using their buildings, instead of schools or other municipal buildings as it truely should be.

As much as I'd like to say what I want to you, Gertz, I'll just say you are grossly uninformed.

The poll numbers are closing in. Your Messiah was 9 points ahead last week, now he's within the margin of error.

So, Gertz, how will you be on November 5? Spiteful and vindictive at your Messiah’s loss or smug and patronizing at his win?

Either way my bet [judging on your recent posts] is you will show poor character either way, not a good role as a grandmother...

WOW !!!From this you conclude B.O.will be the next president, That a lot of pressure to put on Norfolk and Suffolk !!

change in our pocket

Change in our pockets is all any of us have unless you are the republican wealthy that the republicans have been pandering to for the last 8 years.

No, we cannot afford 4 more years of the same failed politics we have been seeing. Obama/Biden is the only way to turn this county around and bring dignity back to the United States.

The wealth distribution has already happened

Bleriot, you are behind the times. The wealth already has been spread around, and all I have now is change. I saved up in my IRA and 401K for over 25 years. I lost more than 45% of my savings in less than a month. This all happened under "W's" watch. After this performance the "R's" should get another chance? Sorry, I just can't afford it.

look at the registration change by city

Norfolk and Suffolk have the biggest increases. It's a shoe-in Obama will be the next President of the United States.
