#1 Oscar Smith 44, Lakeland 0
After a sluggish start, Oscar Smith found its groove behind the legs of Perry Jones and routed Lakeland to finish the regular season unbeaten.
Jones rushed 11 times for 64 yards and a score in the first half and took a screen pass 40 yards down the right sideline for a TD.
Tim Smith’s 87 yards receiving enabled him to break 1,000 for the season. He caught a 76-yard TD reception from Philip Sims, who was 17-29 for 241 yards and 3 TDs passing.
The Tigers defense was beyond stingy as tit held the Cavaliers to -83 yards rushing on 16 carries. Lakeland failed to cross mid-field and was held to only one first down the entire game.

The Grizzles shut out the host Bulldogs in this Southeastern District matchup as they prepped for their first appearance in the Division 5 playoffs.
. Curtis Campbell scored on a 19-yard run in the first quarter for a 7-0 lead. Bruce Smith’s touchdown on a 1-yard run in the fourth quarter completed the scoring.
Smith led Grassfield with 112 yards on 15 carries. Campbell finished the night with 64 yards on 3 carries.

Great Bridge 49, Nansemond River 7
Brad Hudson hit three different receivers for touchdowns and ran one in himself to lead the Wildcats in a season finale victory at Nansemond River.
Despite the victory, the Wildcats (6-4, 5-4 Southeastern District) failed to make the Division 5 playoffs.
Hudson's finished with 272 yards passing, completing 22 of 38 with no interceptions.
Logan Heastie caught two of Hudson’s TD passes and was the leading target – catching 10 passes for 147 yards and a pair of scores.
Great Bridge had 435 to 90 total yards advantage over the Warriors (1-9, 0-9).

Hickory 21, Deep Creek 12
After the Hornets cut the lead to 14-12 with 10:38 left in the game, the Hawks put together an 11 play, 57-yard drive capped by Daniel Wright’s 6-yard touchdown run to seal a Southeastern District finale victory at Hickory.
Hickory (3-7, 3-6 Southeastern District) held Deep Creek (2-8, 2-7) on downs on a pair of key possessions in the second half.
