The No. 1 Cavaliers (15-3, 7-0) moved a half-game ahead of idle Cox in the Beach District race. Carolyn Uy served six aces and Gaby Smith recorded six kills.

Amy Miller’s 20 kills and 12 digs were instrumental in the Bruins upset of the No. 7 Hawks. Jazmin Addison contributed 11 kills and 10 blocks, while Jordan Wood produced 39 assists.

The No. 9 Wildcats (12-4, 12-2) moved into second place in the Southeastern District two games behind unbeaten Grassfield as Alex Jones notched seven kills and three aces.
