Danielle Johnson’s goal with 1:14 remaining in overtime earned the No. 7 Bulldogs (5-5, 3-0) sole possession of first place in the Tidewater Conference Tuesday.

First Colonial 2, Tallwood 0

Lauren Wilhoit’s goal proved decisive for the No. 2 Patriots, who climbed to a league-leading 6-0 in Beach competition.

Cox 10, Green Run 0

The No. 4 Falcons won for the sixth time in seven Beach District outings as Kelsey Rosenmeier tallied a hat trick.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Kellam 3, Landstown 0

Courtney Lynn’s 14 digs helped the No. 4 Knights (14-2, 4-2) topple the second-ranked Eagles (10-3, 4-1). Tessa Bivens added 16 service points for the victors and Jamie Bartz contributed nine kills.

Princess Anne 3, Salem 0

The No. 1 Cavaliers (15-3, 7-0) moved a half-game ahead of idle Cox in the Beach District race. Carolyn Uy served six aces and Gaby Smith recorded six kills.

Western Branch 3, Hickory 1

Amy Miller’s 20 kills and 12 digs were instrumental in the Bruins upset of the No. 7 Hawks. Jazmin Addison contributed 11 kills and 10 blocks, while Jordan Wood produced 39 assists.

Great Bridge 3, King’s Fork 0

The No. 9 Wildcats (12-4, 12-2) moved into second place in the Southeastern District two games behind unbeaten Grassfield as Alex Jones notched seven kills and three aces.
