Virginia Beach police on scene of two shootings

VIRGINIA BEACH

Police are responding to two shootings, one fatal, in Virginia Beach tonight.

According to police spokesman Wayne Gilbert officers found a male victim dead inside a home in the first block of Outer Drive at 7:50 p.m. Saturday.

Police were looking for a heavyset black male with short hair last seen wearing dark clothes and driving a dark blue Volkswagen Jetta Saturday night.

In another shooting a victim was wounded in the 3500 block of Forest Glen Road.

No other details were immediately available in either case.
