Weather: Sunny today with temperatures in low 70s

The rain has moved out of Hampton Roads and is expected to be replaced by sunny skies and temperatures in the 70s for the rest of the week, the National Weather Service says.

Today’s high will be about 72 with the low dropping to about 51, the weather service says.

Highs should be in the mid-70s or a bit cooler the rest of the week, according to the forecast.

A small craft advisory was issued for the Chesapeake Bay and coastal waters.
