College night events planned in several locations across region

College Night in Virginia, which will cover choosing colleges, navigating financial aid and scholarships, will be held at several locations Monday in Hampton Roads.

Local sessions will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at I.C. Norcom High School in Portsmouth, Tidewater Community College Virginia Beach campus, the Ted Constant Convocation Center at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Paul D. Camp Community College Franklin campus, and Thomas Nelson Community College in Hampton.

Four $500 college scholarships will be awarded at the end of the event. Pizza and soda will be provided. The evening is free. For more information, visit www.collegenightinva.org.
