Police are looking for a man they say robbed a check cashing shop today.
The suspect used a handgun to demand cash from a clerk at the Advance America Cash Advance in the 2000 block of S. Independence Blvd., police said. It happened just after noon.
The suspect is described as a black male in his mid to late 20s with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored stocking cap, a green-colored jacket with stripes, blue jeans and black shoes, police said.
