Diary of a Madwoman

This madwoman, a 40-something mom of two children, is here to tell you a thing or two about life when you're an overweight, perimenopausal (she has pills for when she laughs too hard, cream for when hair grows where it shouldn’t and patches to prevent hot flashes and aggravation.) She’s claustrophobic, agoraphobic, insomniatic, diabetic, stubborn anxious, hypothyroid, chronic sinusitis, allergenic, Fibromyalgia, asthmatic, migraine queen with two kids (both teens, one with special needs), four INDOOR dogs, a Cockatoo, two ferrets, a husband and PMDD. Why tell you all of this? TO make you feel better of course!

Ty Pennington & Similac

Now, I know that celebrities make a bulk of their money by doing endorsements but…

Could someone tell me how and why Ty Pennington is doing Similac ads?

Are moms going to go out and buy the new Similac SimplePac because there’s a picture of Ty there telling you how wonderful this product is?

And what do you think he got paid for something like that?

And why are his ads in fashion magazines?

And shouldn’t someone that’s at least had a child (or fathered a child as the case maybe) do this advertising?

I’m just totally confused about the whole thing. How about you? Why is Ty doing it? Why is Similac letting him do it?
