Vick's former home on block at real-estate auction

Posted to: Business Michael Vick

The home formerly owned by Atlanta Falcons football player Michael Vick will hit the auction block for a second time next month.

The house, on 15 acres in rural Surry County, failed to sell during an auction a year ago. The owner, Wilbur Ray Todd Jr., rejected the only serious bid of $747,000.

The auction for the home at 1915 Moonlight Road in Smithfield will be held at 4 p.m. Dec. 12 at the home with a reserve price of $590,000. Vick is serving a 23-month sentence for dogfighting conspiracy.

For more information on the auction, call Motley's Auction and Realty Group at (804) 355-2100.
