New citizens to take oath at Colonial Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG

Colonial Williamsburg is hosting a naturalization ceremony for 31 new U.S. citizens next week.

U.S. District Judge Henry Coke Morgan Jr. will administer the oath of citizenship at 2 p.m. Monday in the Hall of Burgesses at the Capitol Building in Colonial Williamsburg.

John J. McGlennon will be the guest speaker. McGlennon is a naturalized citizen from Ireland and chairman of the College of William and Mary's Department of Government.

The ceremony is sponsored by Colonial Williamsburg and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
