ODU announces $1 million gift from George Dragas Jr.

NORFOLK

Old Dominion University announced a $1 million gift from alumnus and former board rector George Dragas Jr. today.

The gift was announced at the school's Board of Visitors meeting and has been designated for academic purposes.

Previously the Dragas family has helped fund the Dragas International Center, the Dragas Professorship in International Studies and the Center for Regional Studies, among others.
