'Amazing Race' may lead to another Playboy shoot
Close to 11 million people likely will see Jennifer Hopka on the CBS reality show “The Amazing Race” next month. That's three times as many as would have seen her if she had made it into Playboy six years ago. They just won't be seeing as much of her. Read more about the George native on The State.
Ashlee Simpson blogs about Jessica's weight
Weigh in on this new buzz. Ashlee Simpson-Wentz says people should leave her older sister Jessica alone. "I am completely disgusted by the headlines concerning my sister's weight," Ashlee, 24, writes on her blog. Under the headline, "Since when did a woman's weight become newsworthy," Ashlee says: "How can we expect teenage girls to love and respect themselves in an environment where we criticize a size 2 figure?” Cube finds it hard to take Ashlee serious when she was the one who got a nose-job at 18!
Elisabeth Hasselbeck is prego – again
Mornings on “The View” will have an extra dose of hormonal women. Elisabeth Hasselbeck is expecting her third child. The 31-year-old and her husband, Tim, 30, are already the proud parents of 3-year-old daughter Grace, and son Taylor Thomas, who just celebrated his first birthday Nov. 9. Awww…three kids. It's not the peanuts it's the paste
The list of recalled peanut products linked to a national salmonella outbreak just keeps growing. Already more than 400 kinds of cakes, cookies and other goods have been pulled off the shelves in one of the largest product recalls. At the center of the investigation is a Georgia peanut processing plant where federal inspectors reported finding roaches, mold, a leaking roof and other sanitary problems. Managers at the Blakely, Ga., plant owned by Peanut Corp. of America continued shipping peanut products even after they were found to contain salmonella. Read more on the AP.
Harry Potter’s stuntman injured from fall
Even Hogwart’s magic can sometimes go wrong. Daniel Radcliffe's stuntman was hospitalized yesterday with serious back injuries following an on-set mishap. During an aerial sequence in which the 25-year-old stuntman was suspended by a harness, a planned blast somehow went wrong and he crashed to the ground. According to London's Mirror and the Sun, the man was conscious after the fall, but crew members said the stuntman was unable to feel his legs after the plunge.
