VIRGINIA BEACH

Police want help in tracking down the robber of a convenience store back more than two months ago.

Investigators have released surveillance photographs of the man, who entered the 7-Eleven in the 3300 block of Holland Road shortly before 4 a.m. on Oct. 20.

Police spokeswoman Margie Long said the robber approached a female cashier standing near the coffee stations, produced a black handgun and demanded money. The man ran from the convenience store with money from the cash register.

The man was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black ball cap with a white Nike “swoosh” emblem. He was described as a light-skinned black man, 30 to 35 years old and standing between 6-foot-1 and 6-3.

Anyone who has information on the crime can call 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.  Duane Bourne, (757) 222-5150, duane.bourne@pilotonline.com

??????

Warner, you're kidding right with those questions??? If the suspect lives in Norfolk, VBPD will contact the Hoola Lady for some assistance! LMAO....

Then what will the police do?

Even if you were to give the police the license number of the thief, would they do anything about it? What if it turns out that the guy lives in Norfolk. They can't do anything about it then, right?

Where is the photo?

Wouldn't it be great if we had a newspaper or website that would actually show the photo of the suspect so the police could find him???
