Currituck Sheriff's office investigating bank robbery

CURRITUCK COUNTY

The Currituck Sheriff's Office is investigating a bank robbery.

On Tuesday at 3:15 p.m. someone walked into the Bank of the Commonwealth in the 500 block of Caratoke Highway in Moyock. No one was injured during the robbery, and the person was not armed, police said.

According a press release the person left the bank in a blue Chevrolet Cavalier headed north on Caratoke Highway.
