Can the people doing this be a little more careful this time?

Te last time they did these "controlled burns" a piece of equipment emitted some sparks and things quickly got out of hand and we suffered with a fire that took more than 3 months to put out.

I'm begging those in charge to do as Smokey the Bear asks and be careful.

I don't want to go through another couple of months of smoke that makes my eyes water.

I understand that those in charge have no idea what they are doing and they really don't monitor the contractors employed, but we really can't afford screw up. By the way if the preceding statement wasn't true the fire last year would not have occurred. You don't go into dry conditions with any equipment without being very sure of your ability not to start an unwanted fire. If it is not safe then don't.

Cross your fingers

Oh boy, here we go again. Don't let this one get away.
