Hampton police investigate shootings of 3 teens

HAMPTON

Three teens were shot Wednesday night, according to police.

Police responding to a call of a shooting at 8:40 p.m. in the 100 block of Pembroke Avenue found a 16-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. His injuries did not appear life-threatening, police said. 

Minutes later two other gunshot victims, ages 17 and 18, walked into a local hospital. One had non-life-threatening injuries and the other was in surgery Wednesday night.

Police said the victims appear to be from the same incident.

No other details were released Wednesday night.
